Thicket was designed, inked and digitized by moi, l'Abcdarienne, in late 1994. It contains plenty o' diacriticals and symbols (except the scientific ones that you would never use with this font).
It is straight from my brushed lettering work and is meant to communicate an organic, tangling appearance. Although it is complexly textured, Thicket is surprisingly legible at small sizes; however, it is ever so much more pleasing when set at large point sizes.
By the way..
The name Thicket was randomly generated by dropping my finger into the pages of the book "David and the Phoenix" by Edward Ormondroyd (good book!).
Thicket font contains 240 defined characters and 221 unique glyphs. The font contains characters from the following unicode character ranges: Basic Latin (93), Latin-1 Supplement (88), Latin Extended-A (8), Latin Extended-B (1), Spacing Modifier Letters (10), General Punctuation (24), Letterlike Symbols (1), Mathematical Operators (8), Private Use Area (6).
