There was a certain pleasure to interpret the calligraphic caprice of fine writing in a completely different and eccentric way: to digitize the letters with verve, both electronically and calligraphically. It was done with the Wacom pen and pad connected directly to Macromedia's Fontographer. Of course it's possible to generate gentle, charming characters like the professional calligraphy artists do with sepia ink. It's just a question of temperament.
